i wish our house wasn't so old, so then we could get central air. but no. in the house that harold built, there are no vents, which equal no central air, which also equals really hot weather and lots of fans. usually, on particularly hot days, i'll eat something cold but there is NO ice cream in our house. OUR house! we ALWAYS have ice cream. we have it more than we have milk (used solely for cereal and mac 'n' cheese). i was completely dumbfounded, i didn't know what to do. i stood there with my mouth open like a codfish for about 4 minutes. it really took that long for the shock to wear off. after searching the freezer, outside freezer and deep freeze in the basement, i've found only one alternative. italian ice from god know how long ago. i ate it anyways because it's that hot and humid in our house.
i don't know what else to say. oh, danny's being an idiot, but when has he not lately. i start work at 11:45 tomorrow, which is a really weird time. i get trained to do fries during lunch sometime this week. i close on saturday, which means i'll be super tired at church the next day.
it sucks that my whole post is first ranting about not having ice cream, and then the following week of work. my life is boring. someone add pizzazz to it, please. what i'd do for some felix felicis.
